The 7th Annual DC Metro LGBTQ Studies Symposium presents Intricate Identities: Exploring the Intersections of Race, Culture and Ability in the LGBTQ Community. This academic and research symposium will be held Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. The Symposium is a collaboration among American, Howard, Gallaudet, George Mason, Georgetown and George Washington Universities, and the University of Maryland College Park and aims to create a space for undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty to present, reflect upon and learn about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender topics and issues.The deadline to submit a program proposal is 5pm, October 8th, 2012.
