Upcoming Intricate Identities Symposium

My fellow co-conspirator and Learning Specialist extraordinaire, Wade Fletcher, sent me some excellent information on the upcoming, excellent symposium Intricate Identities: Exploring Intersections of Race, Culture, and Ability in the LGBT Community, presented by DC Metro LGBT Studies.  So now, of course, I am sharing this information with you.  Below is a clipped version of the event overview:

The 7th Annual DC Metro LGBTQ Studies Symposium presents Intricate Identities: Exploring the Intersections of Race, Culture and Ability in the LGBTQ Community. This academic and research symposium will be held Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. The Symposium is a collaboration among American, Howard, Gallaudet, George Mason, Georgetown and George Washington Universities, and the University of Maryland College Park and aims to create a space for undergraduate and graduate students, staff and faculty to present, reflect upon and learn about lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender topics and issues.

The deadline to submit a program proposal is 5pm, October 8th, 2012.
The online proposal submission form, as well as contact information for additional questions, is located right here.
